Original and in very good solid condition circa 1880 Winchester Model 1876 lever action rifle. This massive .40-60 caliber 28 inch octagon barrel crescent butt rifle remains in great condition. The bore is excellent and the rifle is crisp and sharp. The wood remains excellent and the edges and markings remain crisp and sharp. This would be a great rifle for the collector who actually wants to shoot one of these. This rifle is as mechanically good as the day it was manufactured,has eye appeal too, and is way better than most encountered.
