Original and probably the finest you will ever see early WWII U.S. Winchester Model 1897 Trench Gun. This combat shotgun remains in most superb un-issued and un-fired condition. The trench gun is 100% original and has never been re-built, repaired nor modified, and certainly would be virtually impossible to upgrade in condition. These early WWII circa 1942 WB inspected trenchguns share alot of the earlier WWI trench gun characteristics i.e. thinner grip buttstock, six row handguard, etc. Most of these earlier 1897 trenchguns were used up during the war and surviving specimens like this one are about as rare as hens teeth. You very well might have to go a lifetime to find an early WWII Winchester WB inspected 1897 Trenchgun this good.
