Original and most superb Pre WWI & WWI U.S. M-1903 Springfield Rifle. This July 1914 manufactured rifle is as nice as you will hope to find an original rifle and would be virtually impossible to upgrade in condition or originality. This rifle has never had a screw replaced, never re-built, and pretty much looks today like the day it was made 102 years ago. As you could expect the bore is mint as well. These early blued finish 03's are extremely hard to find that are original. Most saw hard use during WWI and almost all went through a government re-build during its extremely long service life that spanned over a half century. Original as built in 1914 service rifles in minty condition are about as rare as hen's teeth.
