SCARCE! ZULU WAR BRITISH MKII .577-450 CALIBER MARTINI HENRY RIFLE
Original and scarce Zulu War issue British .577-450 caliber MKII Martini Henry Rifle. This is a very interesting and historic rifle. This rifle is the exact model that the British used against the Zulu's at Isandlwana and Rorkes Drift in 1879. This rifle is not only a MKII, but is very desirably dated 1878, and to top it off is S.A. marked (South Africa). The rifle has no wog writing on it as it is strictly British military and was positively in South Africa during the Zulu War of 1879. The rifle is in great solid condition, never repaired nor modified, has a nice bore, and also has its original WD broad arrow marked white buff sling. For an original Zulu War British Martini Henry Rifle this rifle has it all going for it.
