Original and nice 1894 Winchester Rifle manufactured in 1907. The rifle is totally un-messed with, has a 26 inch octagon barrel, a crescent butt, and is in .30 WCF (.30-30) caliber. The receiver was manufactured with the newly used nickel steel to handle the pressures of the newly invented smokeless powder. This rifle is a very nice example of an early 1894 Winchester Rifle. The rifle also has intact an original period Lyman tang sight. The rifle has 97% of its factory bright blue on the barrel, and 80%+ on the receiver. The bore is excellent. The wood has never been sanded, never repaired nor modified, and only shows light actual use. Overall a nice early 1894 Winchester which is now 108 years old. The rifle looks great to be that old.
