Offering for your consideration is a antique circa 1868-1875 Smith and Wesson 2nd issue Model 1 1/2 .32 caliber rimfire single action revolver. This revolver is in the 89XXX range so it was probably manufactured around 1871. The revolver has never been re0finished, locks up tight, has no wobble, and the action actually works. The bore shows actual use yet remains very strong and serviceable in condition. The grips are original to the revolver and are in excellent condition. These S&W 1 1/2 revolvers were very popular backup revolvers in the day. George Custer, Buffalo Bill Cody, and many other famous western gunfighters were known to own one.
