Original and very scarce antique black powder P1873 Colt .44-40 caliber etched panel "Frontier Six Shooter". This is a REAL cowboy revolver. This revolver was manufactured in 1884 and according to its factory letter shipped to J.P. Lower & Sons in Denver Colorado in 1887. The very rare thing about this revolver is its 100% original, and its never had so much as a screw replaced ever. The revolver actually has about 20% of its original bright blue remaining intact and traces of case color (mostly in the protected areas i.e. inside the loading gate and is all matching. Overall a very rare Colt .44-40 caliber "Frontier Six Shooter" which was very desirable shipped out west.
